文物特色

墓碑坐北朝南，三一八遇难烈士纪念碑和魏士毅女士纪念碑两碑并排伫立。其中，北面一座三一八遇难烈士纪念碑，为北京大学所立。碑身较小，成方锥形。碑座高三尺，碑腰高一尺，碑身高八尺，暗语三一八惨案。四面分别用篆书刻写着：“三一八遇难烈士黄君克仁（李君家珍、张君仲超）纪念碑”、“三一八遇难烈士李君家珍纪念碑”、“三一八遇难烈士张君仲超纪念碑”、“中华民国十有八年五月卅日立石”。与此相对应碑腰四面，分别刻着三位烈士的简历和铭文。

历史溯源

三一八遇难烈士纪念碑背面基座上有立碑原委的详细说明：

“1926年3月18日，北大、清华、燕大和北京总工会二百多个社团五千多人在天安门前举行‘反对八国最后通牒大会’，抗议帝国主义的强盗行径，会后到执政府（在铁狮子胡同，今张自忠路）门前示威请愿，遭到段祺瑞反动政府的残酷镇压，在这一惨案中受伤200多人，牺牲17人。其中有北京大学学生张仲超、李家珍、黄克仁，燕京大学学生魏士毅，北京女子师范大学学生刘和珍、杨德群，张仲超等三烈士碑于1929年5月立于北大三院（北河沿），1982年迁此；魏士毅烈士碑1927年3月立于此。”

三一八遇难烈士纪念碑铭文：

“铭曰：死者烈士之身，不死者烈士之神。愤八国之通牒兮，竟杀身以成仁。唯烈士之碧血兮，共北大而长新。踏着三一八血迹兮，雪国耻以敌强邻，系后死者之责任兮，誓尝胆而卧薪。 北大教授黄右昌撰。”

Distinguishing feature

The two gravestones stood side by side, are located in north and faced south. The northern one is 3.18 Monument of martyrs, set by Peking University, shaped in a smaller square cone, with a three-feet high foundation, one-feet waist and eight-feet body, implied the massacre on March 18th. The four sides were carved with monument of martyr Huang Keren on March 18th, monument of martyr Li Jiazhen on March 18th, monument of martyr Zhang Zhongchao on March 18th, set on May 30th, the eighteenth year of the Republic of China, in seal character separately. Correspond to this, the waist of tablet is also carved with their brief and inscription.
